
Westminster’s men’s and women’s indoor track and field competed at the RMAC Championships Friday and Saturday.
The women’s team finished in 10th place overall, scoring 12 points. Sophomore Grace Cobabe finished third in the pentathlon, setting a personal record. Cobabe also secured another personal record in the high jump with 1.60M.
Junior Katie Scott finished sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:20.35s. Scott also placed with the women’s distance medley team — first-year student Courtney McAlindon, sophomore Madison Hooper, first-year Emily Worline and Scott — finishing in seventh place.
The other women’s relay team (Hooper, Worline, first-year Josii Johnson and Scott) , running the 4×400, finished in eighth place.
The women’s team set two program records, and additional five top-three times and six more top-10 times and marks. Sophomore Natalie McAllister set a personal best in the high jump, and first-year Flore Elliott set a personal best in the 60M with a time of 8.59s.
The men’s team finished in 11th overall with 7 points and set two top-three program times and an additional three top-10 times and marks. Junior Aiden Urban finished third in the 800M with a time of 1:54.95s to score all the Griffins’ points.
