Hello, fellow Griffins. I wanted to address you informally, using my platform in a way that can benefit us all.
I know things are uncertain right now. What we are going through together is unprecedented, and I’ll be candid: I don’t know how the rest of this semester will pan out. But what I do know, I will share with you. And maybe we can find some peace together.
As you already know, school will consist of online classes for the rest of the semester. While we won’t be seeing each other on campus, I hope The Forum can still serve as a unifying platform to keep us all connected and informed on what’s going on — whether it’s at Westminster College or on the state and national level.
However, on that note: I regret to tell you we will not be printing any more physical copies of The Forum for the remainder of the semester. While this is disappointing news to me and the rest of my staff, I’m happy to let you know we are dedicated to continue bringing you news and information daily on our website.
I know we may be far from the end — but I want you all to know that The Forum is still here. We are still meeting together virtually to bring you the latest developments on the spread of the virus, updates on campus news and information we think is important to know.
While continuing the semester remotely will make it more difficult for us to talk to you and interview students, we still want to hear from you.
If you have thoughts and opinions, I want to hear them. If you have a story you want told, let me know. Shoot me an email. Let’s get a conversation going.
We may all be miles apart, but we are only a click away.
Thank you for all your support this school year. I’m excited to stay in touch and see you when we cross paths again.
